Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Act 2007

Section 63R Other protection or assistance against forced marriage

74.Section 63R sets out how provisions under this Part will link with existing provisions, which may offer other types of protection for victims of forced marriage. Subsection (1) clarifies that Part 4A does not affect any other protection or assistance already available to those faced with a forced marriage or those who have already been forced into marriage.

75.Subsection (2) lists the particular provisions which might be used to offer protection.
