In section 94 (protest when notary not accessible)—
(a)
the existing provision becomes subsection (1), and
(b)
after that subsection insert—
“(2)
In subsection (1), “notary” includes a person who, for the purposes of the Legal Services Act 2007, is an authorised person in relation to any activity which constitutes a notarial activity (within the meaning of that Act).”
