The powers of the Board under sections 31 to 51 and 55 (regulatory powers in respect of approved regulators) are not exercisable by it in relation to the Board in its capacity as an approved regulator.

In section 53 references to an approved regulator do not include the Board in its capacity as an approved regulator.

Sections 57 to 61 (reports by OFTetc) do not apply in relation to the Board in its capacity as an approved regulator.
