Where the regulator's consent is required for the disposal of a dwelling by F1a private registered provider, sections 172 to 175 continue to apply in relation to a disposal of the land by the registered provider even if the land has ceased to be a dwelling.

Sections 172 to 175 also apply in relation to a disposal of land by F2a private registered provider which would fall within Exception 2 or 3 of section 173 but for a change of use of the land by the registered provider.
