Section 58 applies as if—

(a)

for subsection (6) there were substituted—

“(6)

Summary proceedings relating to an offence under this section may be commenced regardless of when the contravention occurred.”, and

(b)

in subsection (7), the reference to section 127 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 (c. 43) were a reference to section 136 of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 (c. 46).
