The Commission must pay to the Minister for the Civil Service, at such times as he or she may direct, such sums as he or she may determine in respect of the increase in the sums payable out of money provided by Parliament that is attributable to the provision of relevant pensions.

In sub-paragraph (1), “relevant pensions” means pensions, allowances or gratuities under section 1 of the Superannuation Act 1972 (c. 11) payable to or in respect of persons who are or have been in the service of the Commission.
