In section 91 (dissolution of an integrated transport area), after subsection (3) insert—

The reference in subsection (2)(a) to an authority does not include a combined authority established under section 103 of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009.

Subsection (2) does not apply to a territory or part of a territory that becomes the area or part of the area of a combined authority by virtue of an order under section 103 or 106 of that Act.
