Schedule 18 U.K. Forfeiture of property under section 275 or 276

Decision whether to take court proceedings to condemn property as forfeited U.K.

6 (1) Where a notice of claim in respect of the property is duly given in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4, the relevant authority must decide whether to take proceedings to ask the court to condemn the property as forfeited. U.K.

(2) The decision whether to take such proceedings must be taken as soon as reasonably practicable after the receipt of the notice of claim.
