Return of property if no forfeiture proceedingsU.K.

7(1)If, in a case in which a notice of claim has been given, the relevant authority decides not to take proceedings for condemnation of the property, it must return the property to the person appearing to it to be the owner of the property, or, if there is more than one such person, to one of those persons.U.K.

(2)Any property required to be returned in accordance with sub-paragraph (1) must be returned as soon as reasonably practicable after the decision not to take proceedings for condemnation.
