58 Infanticide (Northern Ireland) E+W

(1) Section 1 of the Infanticide Act (Northern Ireland) 1939 (c. 5) (offence of infanticide) is amended as follows.

(2) In subsection (1)—

(a) for “notwithstanding that” substitute “ if ”, and

(b) after “murder” insert “ or manslaughter ”.

(3) In subsection (2)—

(a) for “notwithstanding that” substitute “ if ”, and

(b) after “murder” insert “ or manslaughter ”.
