(1)Section 1 of the Infanticide Act (Northern Ireland) 1939 (c. 5) (offence of infanticide) is amended as follows.
(2)In subsection (1)—
(a)for “notwithstanding that” substitute “ if ”, and
(b)after “murder” insert “ or manslaughter ”.
(3)In subsection (2)—
(a)for “notwithstanding that” substitute “ if ”, and
(b)after “murder” insert “ or manslaughter ”.
