41(1)Section 8 is amended as follows.
(2)In subsection (1) (interpretation)—
(a)after the definition of “electoral region” insert—
““the IPSA” means the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority;”, and
(b)omit the definition of “the Leader of the House of Commons”.
(3)Omit subsection (2).
