37(1)Where the proceedings at a polling station are interrupted or obstructed by riot or open violence, the presiding officer must adjourn the proceedings till the following day and must give notice to the counting officer as soon as practicable.U.K.
(2)Where the poll is adjourned at a polling station—
(a)the hours of polling on the day to which it is adjourned must be the same as for the original day, and
(b)references in these rules to the close of the poll are to be read accordingly.
