49U.K.The following provisions do not apply where the Chief Electoral Officer decides that the proceedings on the issue and receipt of postal ballot papers in respect of the referendum and the relevant elections are to be taken together—
(a)regulation 90 of the 2008 Regulations;
(b)paragraph 18 of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Local Elections Order.
