Commencement Dates
366.Section 82 provides for commencement. The provisions listed in subsection (1) come into force on Royal Assent; those listed in subsection (2) come into force two months after the date on which the Act is passed. The other provisions in the Act will come into force on a day appointed by the Secretary of State by order.
