SCHEDULE 17 E+W Criminal Justice Act 2003: restatement of transitional provision

5 (1) Section 258 (early release of fine defaulters and contemnors) is amended as follows. E+W

(2) After subsection (2) insert—

“(2A) Subsection (2) is subject to paragraph 35 of Schedule 20B (transitional cases).”

(3) In subsection (3) after “in this section” insert “ or in paragraph 35 of Schedule 20B ”.
