40E+W+SThe Social Security (Recovery of Benefits) Act 1997 is amended as follows.
41E+W+SIn section 29 (general interpretation), in the definition of “benefit”, after “means” there is inserted “ universal credit ”.
42E+W+SIn the table in Schedule 2 (calculation of compensation payment), in the section relating to compensation for earnings lost during the relevant period, at the top of the second column insert “ Universal credit ”.
