Civil servants and judiciary

Scheme regulations for civil servants may be made by the Minister for the Civil Service.

Scheme regulations for the judiciary may be made by the Lord Chancellor.

Before making scheme regulations in relation to an office with a jurisdiction exercised exclusively in relation to Scotland, the Lord Chancellor must consult the Secretary of State.

Local government workers

Scheme regulations for local government workers may be made by—

a

the Secretary of State, in or as regards England and Wales;

b

the Scottish Ministers, in or as regards Scotland.

Teachers

Scheme regulations for teachers may be made by—

the Secretary of State, in or as regards England and Wales;

b

the Scottish Ministers, in or as regards Scotland.

Health service workers
