Section 36 of the National Insurance Act 1965 (graduated retirement benefit), so far as continuing in force, is amended as follows.

In subsection (7), for “has attained pensionable age” substitute “ attained pensionable age before 6 April 2016 ”.

In subsection (8), in the definition of “retirement pension”, after “any category” insert “ under the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 ”.
