Section 23(1) (interpretation of Part 3) is amended as follows.

After the definition of “child” insert—

“child arrangements order” has the meaning given by section 8(1) of the Children Act 1989;

In the definition of “contact order”—

a

omit “section 8(1) of the Children Act 1989 or”, and

b

omit “as the case may be”.
