26 (1) Section 90C (consultation and local inquiries) is amended as follows. E+W

(2) In subsection (1)—

(a) after “Secretary of State” insert “ , a strategic highways company ”;

(b) after “he” insert “ , it ”.

(3) In subsection (2), after “Secretary of State” insert “ , a strategic highways company ”.

(4) In subsection (4)—

(a) after “Secretary of State” insert “ , a strategic highways company ”;

(b) after “him” insert “ , it ”;

(c) after “he” insert “ , it ”.
