In section 5 of the Housing Act 1988 (security of tenure), in subsection (1)—

omit “or” at end of paragraph (b);

at the end of paragraph (d) insert

in the case of an assured shorthold tenancy, serving a notice in accordance with section 57 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016,
