The OfS may do anything (except borrow money) which appears to it to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of, or in connection with, the performance of its functions.

In particular, the OfS may—
a
acquire and dispose of land and other property,
b
enter into contracts,

invest sums, and
d
accept gifts of money, land or other property.
