SCHEDULE 5Powers of entry and search etc

Offence

(1)

A person commits an offence if, without reasonable excuse, the person—

(a)

intentionally obstructs the exercise of a power conferred by a search warrant, or

(b)

fails to comply with a requirement reasonably imposed in the exercise of a power conferred by a search warrant.

(2)

A person guilty of an offence under this paragraph is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale.
