Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (c. 23) U.K.

3 (1) Section 29 (authorisation of covert human intelligence sources) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) For subsection (2A) substitute—

“(2A) For the meaning of “relevant collaborative unit” in subsection (2)(c)(i), see section 29A.”

(3) In subsection (4A), at the end of paragraph (a) insert “ (see section 29A for the meaning of “qualifying person”) ”.

(4) Omit subsection (7A).

(5) Omit subsection (10).
