4Commencement, extent and short title

Section 3 comes into force on whatever day or days the Secretary of State appoints by regulations.

The other provisions of this Act come into force on the day on which this Act is passed.

The power to make regulations under subsection (1) is exercisable by statutory instrument.

Regulations under subsection (1)—
a
may appoint different days for different purposes;
b
may make transitional, transitory or saving provision.

This Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This Act may be cited as the Air Travel Organisers' Licensing Act 2017.
