7 U.K. The Consumer Credit Act 1974 is amended as follows.

8 U.K. In section 157(2A) (duty to disclose name etc of agency)—

(a) in paragraph (a), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the GDPR ”, and

(b) in paragraph (b), after “any” insert “ other ”.

10 U.K. In section 189(1) (definitions), at the appropriate place insert—

““the GDPR” has the same meaning as in Parts 5 to 7 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3(10), (11) and (14) of that Act);”.
