5 Power of the Department to borrow

(1) The Department may borrow on the credit of the sum specified in section 4 any sum or sums not exceeding in total £5,926,019,000.

(2) Any money so borrowed must be repaid, with any interest due on it, out of the Consolidated Fund not later than 31 March 2020.
