In section 430 (provision introducing Schedule of punishments), after subsection (4) insert—

In relation to an offence committed before section 154(1) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 comes into force, a reference in Schedule 10 to 12 months on summary conviction in England and Wales is to be read as a reference to 6 months.
