SCHEDULE 29Residential tenancies in England and Wales: protection from eviction

Interpretation

In this Schedule “the relevant period” means the period—

a

beginning with the day after the day on which this Act is passed, and

b

ending with F1—

i

in relation to England, F225 March 2022, and

ii

in relation to Wales,F331 December 2021.

The relevant national authority may by regulations made by statutory instrument amend sub-paragraph (1)(b) to specify a later date than the date for the time being specified there.

In this Schedule “relevant national authority” means—

a

in relation to England, the Secretary of State, and

b

in relation to Wales, the Welsh Ministers.
