2In section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 (arrangements for discharge of functions by local authorities), after subsection (6) insert—
“(6ZA)Infrastructure Levy under Part 10A of the Planning Act 2008 is not a rate for the purposes of subsection (6).”

4In section 71(3) of the Deregulation and Contracting Out Act 1994 (functions excluded from sections 69 and 70), omit the word “and” at the end of paragraph (h) and after that paragraph insert—
“(ha)sections 204R and 204S of the Planning Act 2008 (Infrastructure Levy: collection and enforcement); and”.
