Consequential amendments to the LRA 1967

5 (1) The LRA 1967 is amended as follows.

(2) In section 16 (rights after extension)—

(a) in subsection (1), omit the words before paragraph (a);

(b) omit subsection (5).

(3) In section 23(5)(b) (terms of extended tenancy), for “section 16(1) to (6)” substitute “section 16(1B)”.
