8Penalties and legal proceedings.

(1)Any person guilty of an offence under this Act shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds, or, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction of such an offence, to a fine not exceeding one hundred pounds; and the court by whom any person is convicted of an offence under this Act may order to be forfeited any fish, eggs of fish, foodstuff or article in respect of which the offence was committed.

(2)In England, any fishery board shall have power to take legal proceedings to enforce the provisions of this Act as respects waters in their district.
