3 U.K. In subsection (8) of section thirty-four, for references to [F2 the Secretary of State] and [F3 the Central Arbitration Committee] there shall be substituted, in relation to service in Northern Ireland, references to the Ministry of Labour and National Insurance for Northern Ireland and to an industrial court established in Northern Ireland under the M1 Industrial Courts Act 1919.

6 U.K. A referee or board of referees for the purposes of section seventy-four, section eighty-one or paragraph 17 of the Seventh Schedule shall, where the proceedings are to be held in Northern Ireland, be appointed by the Ministry of Labour and National Insurance for Northern Ireland after consultation with the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.

8 U.K. In subsection (9) of section seventy-four, for the reference to subsection (4) of section sixty-nine of the National Insurance Act, 1946, there shall be substituted a reference to subsection (4) of section sixty-six of the National Insurance Act (Northern Ireland), 1946.

9 U.K. In sub-paragraph (3) of paragraph 1 of the Sixth Schedule, for the reference to section sixty-four of the M3 Law of Property Act 1925, there shall be substituted a reference to section nine of the M4 Conveyancing Act 1881.

10 U.K. An arbitrator for the purposes of paragraph 3 of the Sixth Schedule shall, where the proceedings are to be held in Northern Ireland, be appointed by the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.

11 U.K. References to enactments or statutory provisions include references to enactments of the Parliament of Northern Ireland and provisions, whether of a general or a special nature, contained in, or in any document made or issued under, any Act of the Parliament of Northern Ireland, whether of a general or a special nature.
