Other port charges U.K.

[F9 5 (1) The charges made by any of the Boards [F10 or Canal & River Trust] for the use of services or facilities provided in, or in connection with, a harbour specified in this Schedule (other than ship, passenger and goods dues, charges for the carriage of goods or passengers on any railway, charges for the use of a railway or charges in respect of railway wagons) shall be such as may be reasonable. U.K.

(2) In this paragraph the expression “ ship, passenger and goods dues ” has the meaning assigned to it by section 57(1) of the M1 Harbours Act 1964. ]

(2) The provisions of sections twenty-seven to forty-six and section forty-eight of the M2 Harbours, Docks and Piers Clauses Act 1847, as incorporated with or applied by any enactment relating to any of the harbours [F12 specified in] this Schedule, and the provisions of any similar enactment, shall apply to the charges authorised under this Act as if they were rates payable under any such enactment.
