Where a claim was made for a payment under the scheme referred to in subsection (2) of section one of this Act, but payment in respect of the interest to which the claim related would have been excluded by section eighty-five of the principal Act by virtue of a direction given under subsection (5) of the said section eighty-five, the Minister, on application made to him at any time within six months after the commencement of this Act, may direct that the provisions of the principal Act and of this Act shall have effect in relation to that claim as if the direction under subsection (5) of the said section eighty-five had not been given.
