An officer, warrant officer, non-commissioned officer or airman of the regular air force may be attached temporarily to any of Her Majesty’s naval or military forces.

Regulations made by the F1Defence Council may prescribe circumstances in which officers, warrant officers, non-commissioned officers and airmen of the regular air force shall be deemed to be attached to any of Her Majesty’s naval or military forces, as the case may be, under the last foregoing subsection.

A person shall not cease to be subject to air-force law by reason only of attachment in pursuance of this section.
