Subsection (1) of section one hundred and twelve (which subsection limits the amount which may be paid by a local authority by way of an improvement grant) shall have effect and shall be deemed always to have had effect, as if there were added to paragraph (b) thereof the words " for each dwelling provided or improved by the works ".
