11 Registration of compulsory rights orders.E+W+S

[F1(1)A compulsory rights order shall be a local land charge.]

(2). . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . F2

(3)Any rules made [F3under section 14 of the M1Local Land Charges Act 1975 for the purposes of this section] shall include provision—

(a)for cancelling the registration of a compulsory rights order if the Minister decides not to confirm the order, or if the order is revoked, or at the end of the period for which it has effect, and

(b)for varying the registration of such an order if the order as confirmed by the Minister differs from the order as made, or if the order is subsequently varied.

(4)In the application of this section to Scotland, the following subsection shall be substituted for subsections (1) to (3) of this section:—

(1)As soon as may be after a compulsory rights order has been confirmed it shall be recorded by [F4the person on whose application it was made] in the appropriate register of sasines; and any order revoking or varying such an order shall be so recorded; and at the end of the period for which such an order has effect [F5the person entitled immediately before it ceases to have effect to the rights conferred by the order]shall so record notice that the order has ceased to have effect.
