Preamble recites certain events which have happened since the making of an Act passed in the twenty-sixth year of the reign of His late Majesty King George the Second intituled an Act for the better preventing clandestine marriages and since the making of another Act therein mentioned and is omitted under authority of Statute Law Revision (No. 2) Act 1890 (c. 51)
