4 Enacting words.

In every Bill presented to His Majesty under the preceding provisions of this Act, the words of enactment shall be as follows, that is to say:—

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Commons in this present Parliament assembled, in accordance with the provisions of F1the Parliament Acts 1911 and 1949 and by authority of the same, as follows.

Any alteration of a Bill necessary to give effect to this section shall not be deemed to be an amendment of the Bill.
