Settlements and Settled Land

6 Procedure in the case of settlements by will.

Where a settlement is created by the will of an estate owner who dies after the commencement of this Act—

a

the will is for the purposes of this Act a trust instrument; and

b

the personal representatives of the testator shall hold the settled land on trust, if and when required so to do, to convey it to the person who, under the will, or by virtue of this Act, is the tenant for life or statutory owner, and, if more than one, as joint tenants.
