FIRST SCHEDULEOffences triable at Quarter Sessions

1Offences under sections sixteen and seventeen of the [24 & 25 Vict. c. 97.] Malicious Damage Act, 1861.

2Unlawful combinations and conspiracies to cheat and defraud.

3Offences under section thirteen of the [48 & 49 Vict. c. 69.] Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1885, as amended by any other enactment, in respect of which the accused claims to be tried with a jury.

4Offences under sections fifty to fifty-six of the [8 Edw. 7. c. 48.] Post Office Act, 1908.

5Offences under section five of the [1 & 2 Geo. 5. c. 6.] Perjury Act, 1911, in relation to statements in statutory declarations.

6Offences under paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section two of the [3 & 4 Geo. 5. c. 27.] Forgery Act, 1913, in relation to any document being an authority or request for the payment of money or for the delivery or transfer of goods and chattels where the amount of the money or the value of the goods or chattels does not exceed twenty pounds, and, under paragraph (a) of section seven of that Act, where the amount of the money or the value of the property in respect of which the offence is committed does not exceed twenty pounds, and uttering any forged document the forgery of which is an offence triable at quarter sessions.

7Offences under the following provisions of the [6 & 7 Geo. 5. c. 50.] Larceny Act, 1916, that is to say, section twelve, section eighteen, paragraph (iv) of subsection (1) of section twenty, section twenty-four and subsection (2) of section thirty-three.
