Subject to the provisions of this Act, an order shall cease to have effect at the expiration of such period (not exceeding six months) from the date on which it comes into operation as may be specified, and if no period is specified, at the expiration of six months from the date on which it comes into operation, but without prejudice to the power of the Minister to make a new order.

The provisions of subsection (5) of section one of this Act shall not apply to an order in so far as it is made under this section, and the expiration of this Act shall not affect the operation of an order in so far as it is so made.
