205 Women not to be employed in factories or workshops within four weeks after birth of a child.E+W

If the occupier of a factory or workshop knowingly allows a woman to be employed therein within four weeks after she has given birth to a child, he shall be liable to a fine not exceeding [F2level 1 on the standard scale] or, if he has been previously convicted of a like offence within two years, to a fine not exceeding [F2level 1 on the standard scale].
