(1)In arbitrations as to any question which under this Part of this Act is expressly required to be determined by arbitration, the reference shall be to the [F1appropriate tribunal].
(2)Rules 2 to 4 of the Rules set out in [F2section five of the M1Land Compensation Act 1961] (which provides rules for valuation on a compulsory acquisition) shall apply for the purposes of any such arbitration.
(3)For the purposes of any such arbitration, [F2section four of the said Act of 1961] (which relates to costs) shall have effect with the substitution for the references to the acquiring authority of references to the coast protection authority.
(4)[F3In subsection (1) “the appropriate tribunal” means—
(a)in the application of this Act to England and Wales, the Upper Tribunal;
(b)in the application of this Act to Scotland, the Lands Tribunal for Scotland.]
