The Appointment of the said Thomas Erskine May shall be confirmed, and the Clerk Assistant and Second Clerk Assistant of the House of Commons respectively shall hereafter be appointed by Her Majesty by "Warrant under Her Royal Sign Manual, and every present and future Clerk Assistant and Second Clerk Assistant shall be removable only by Her Majesty, upon an Address of the House of Commons to Her Majesty for that Purpose.
