149 Deeds and instruments may be partly written and partly printed or engraved.U.K.

All deeds and conveyances, and all documents whatever mentioned or not mentioned in this Act, and whether relating or not relating to land, having a testing clause, may be partly written and partly printed or engraved or lithographed: Provided always, that in the testing clause the date, if any, and the names and designations of the witnesses, and the number of the pages of the deed or conveyance or document, if the number be specified, and the name and designation of the writer of the written portions of the body of the deed or conveyance or document shall be expressed at length, and all such deeds, conveyances, and documents shall be as valid and effectual as if they had been wholly in writing: Declaring that no such deeds, conveyances, and documents executed prior to the commencement of this Act shall be challengeable on the ground that the name of the writer of the written portions of the testing clause is not mentioned.
