The amount of the damages for which compensation is provided under this Act shall, in Scotland, be ascertained and determined by the [F1sheriff principal of the sheriffdom], whose decision in the matter shall be final and conclusive, and not subject to review, by suspension, advocation, reduction, or otherwise.
