(1)The limit imposed by section nine of the Metropolitan Police Courts Act, 1839, on the salaries of the clerks in the metropolitan police courts is hereby repealed.
(2)The Secretary of State may, by order under his hand, fix a table of the fees to be taken in the metropolitan police courts; and any table so fixed shall take effect instead of the table contained in Schedule A. to the [2 & 3 Vict. c. 71.] Metropolitan Police Courts Act, 1839.
